Terms of Service

The agreement between your organization and Klensec Technology LLC for the ProjectTime service.

Effective date: 26 October 2026  ·  Version: 1.0

1. This agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between your organization ("you", "your") and Klensec Technology LLC, a Virginia company ("Klensec Technology", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using ProjectTime, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

2. The service

ProjectTime (powered by KlensClock) lets your staff record hours against charge and job codes, sign their time, obtain supervisor approval, keep a permanent change history, and export approved hours.

ProjectTime is built for the way DCAA timekeeping audits work. It is not "DCAA certified" or "DCAA compliant" — DCAA certifies no software, and whether your timekeeping passes an audit depends on your own procedures. ProjectTime gives you the records to support them.

3. Accounts and eligibility

4. Plans, seats and payment

5. Taxes

Prices exclude any applicable US sales tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is added to your invoice.

6. Renewal and cancellation

7. Your data

You own the data your organization puts into ProjectTime. We process it to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy. You may export your approved hours and records, and you may request a copy or deletion when your account closes, subject to the records we must keep by law.

8. Acceptable use

9. Availability and support

We work to keep ProjectTime available and will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance. Support is included at support@klensec.com.

10. Disclaimers

ProjectTime is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ProjectTime helps you keep timekeeping records; it does not provide legal, tax or audit advice, and you remain responsible for your own compliance.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for ProjectTime in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Term and termination

These Terms apply while you use ProjectTime. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within a reasonable time. We may suspend access for non-payment or for a serious breach of Section 8. On termination, you may export your data as described in Section 7.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms or the service. We will post material changes to these Terms on this page and, where appropriate, notify account administrators. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Virginia have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
